The Flower Shop has been serving the Norman area for 11 years as a stand alone floral shop, and had our humble beginnings as the floral department in the beloved local grocery store, Wrights IGA. We are a woman and family owned business passionate about flowers for every occasion.

We are open for in store shopping for flowers, plants and gifts. We also do wedding / event flowers, and daily deliveries!

Our Flowers

We are all about local, and seasonal flowers. We love supporting our local farmers whenever possible, and providing unique flowers to our customers.

Each of our arrangements are made custom and to order by one of our designers with their own special touch.

FAQ

  • Do you have a physical location?

    Yes! Our store is located at Robinson and Porter in Norman, 1440 N Porter Ave, right next to Dara Marie's Bakery!

  • Can I just walk in and pick up flowers?

    Yes! We have a cooler when you first walk in full of arrangements, single stems, and our Bear Creek Bouquets! We can't promise that it will always be completely full, but we will always have at least an arrangement or two and some stems!

    The best way to insure you get exactly what you're looking for is to place and order

  • What are 'Bear Creek Bouquets'?

    These are probably our most popular offering at our shop! These bouquets are arranged by our friends at Bear Creek Farms in Stillwater, and we get them in every Monday and Wednesday! They are just available for walk-in customers, are hand wrapped in paper, and are $25 each.

  • Where do you deliver?

    We mostly just deliver in Norman proper, but we do have a few exceptions for Funeral Homes in surrounding towns. We also are unable to accommodate dorm deliveries. If you're questioning whether we deliver to your desired location, give us a call!

  • Can I request certain flowers in my arrangement? Pt.1

    Yes, and no, and sort of! If you have a specific flower request, we'd recommend you call and place an order! There are some blooms we have all the time, some that are only available seasonally, and some that we can pick up if we have a request!

  • Can I request certain flowers in my arrangement? Pt.2

    We usually only keep on hand what we know we will use in our orders. This helps us cut waste, and provide the freshest blooms.

  • How early should I place my order?

    As early as possible is always a great rule of thumb! For pick up/deliveries we recommend at least a day or two in advance, and 1-2 weeks for a smaller event. BUT! We are always happy to see if your request is something we can do!

  • Can I order a same day pick up or delivery?

    Most of the time if you call us before 12, we can offer a same day pick up or delivery! But there are instances when we have large events or big flower holidays that we may not be able to accommodate.
